This past Sunday there was an auction of the contents of the House of Plywood building in Railroad Square. The iconic building is being razed to make room for something shiny. I scored a truckload of stuff and have donated two collections of hardware to the space. The first is a set of 14 boxes of small miscellaneous but sorted hardware. The boxes are on top of the hardware cabinet in the woodshop. The second collection is in red wall-mount boxes, unsorted, and ready for someone to go through it, sort and/or recycle. Please don't throw away the red boxes themselves but don't worry too much about the hardware. The entire collection cost $5. The red box collection is in the metal shop.
